Kate Casanova
Kate Casanova is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the posthuman through sculpture and video. Casanova has exhibited nationally and internationally at venues such as the Black Cube Nomadic Museum (Denver), the Weisman Art Museum (Minneapolis) and Doug Aitken's Station to Station, an exhibition that traveled by train from New York to California. Casanova is represented by Yi Gallery (Brooklyn) and Myta Sayo Gallery (Toronto). She received a Master’s of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota in 2013 and a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 2008 and serves as an Assistant Professor of Sculpture at the University of Denver.
