Lauren Carly Shaw
Lauren Carly Shaw is a multimedia artist based in the Hudson Valley. Rooted in mold-making, sculptural assemblage and installation, her surreal and uncanny work has been exhibited widely and internationally. She has had solo shows and her work has been highlighted in notable galleries and art fairs such as Postmasters Gallery, Satellite Art Fair, Art Market, The Active Space, Lauren Powell Projects, and Wave Hill. Residencies include Silver Art Project in the World Trade Center, the Vermont Studio Center, Starry Night AIR program, and Metafora, in Barcelona, Spain. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vellum Magazine, Infringe, and Create Mag. She received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
