PARADICE PALASE is pleased to host farmer’s market, the second solo show with the platform of work by Oasis Studios Member Jovanni Luna. Inspired by the colloquial phrase "slice of life" and trompe-l'œil paintings of fruit, this new series of simulacra sculptures are crafted from the same paintskins technique Jovanni has developed using recycled acrylic house paint. He has been using this source system and process for creating work for the past ten years, and in this latest collection of objects we see the artist employ the same binding technique to render recognizable fruits and veggies.
