recording - The Hustle Habit with Jazo Brooklyn

In August we hosted our second session of The Hustle Habit, a monthly conversation series with art world “movers and makers”. We invited Jazo, a Bushwick native and the founder of multiple arts community programs, including the popular Educated Little Monsters. She has dedicated the last 10+ years to building ELM into a full scale creative hub for black and brown youth in Brooklyn. We connected with her to hear about her hustle in getting the non-profit off the ground, the various side projects that spawned from its growth, and the constant and continuing struggles she fights against daily to ensure mental and physical space, funding, and visibility for her “kids” as she likes to call them :)
