Member Feature: Dan Criblez

Dan Criblez is an experimental artist in Bushwick, NY working in a wide variety of mediums including: Animation/Film, Sculpture/Installation, Painting, Drawing and Sound.

Experimenting in those mediums, Dan has created surreal, abstract, figurative mind art by using line and improvisation. His debut short film and sound album “The 8ugs R 7ruit” explores the genre of experimental abstract surrealism. His first animations have traveled internationally through many film festivals.

Dan is also a freelance VJ projection artist working mostly in Brooklyn NY for emerging bands, including with Ritual Talk. Dan received his BFA in Sculpture at Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts of the University of New Haven. Installation works that include sculpture, film/animation, and sound are a new development he is exploring.
