Raymie Iadevaia is a painter living and working in Los Angeles. Using a variety of materials, the staining of watercolor, rubbed in passages of colored pencils, thick layers of impasto oil paint, Raymie is interested in creating spaces for contemplation, allowing color to fill emotional spaces within the body. Raymie received a BFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts and an MFA from Art Center College of Design. Raymie has exhibited work in Los Angeles, New York, Switzerland, Berlin, and Japan.
