Judi Keeshan
Judi Keeshan currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She believes that art is a never-ending journey of the soul and mind. The Vibrant colors of her native state, Texas, especially caught her eye and inspiration. Particularly the colors of Mexican folk art. The vast southern landscapes introduced a stage for the dramatic in Keeshan’s work. A space to explore with color and feeling of mystery.
Keeshan is inspired by travel, art history, spirituality brought together into a creation that transcends beyond the obvious and ordinary. In hopes of creating a new world, her paintings courageously house a variety of styles such as bold expression and dynamic shape interaction.
Keeshan attended School of Visual arts and received her MFA in Fine Arts. She also studied art in Spain. Her art continues to be shown in spaces and galleries throughout New York. Keeshan has had two solo shows at One River School. She is part of collections throughout the U.S. and Internationally.
