Julia Maranto is an arts and museum educator living in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently the Manager of Intergenerational Programs and Public Engagement at the Museum of Arts and Design. She received her MS in Art Education from Pratt Institute in 2014. Maranto holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Arts and Art History from Chester College in New Hampshire. Prior, she worked with children, teens, and adults at The Arthur M. Sackler Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Transit Museum of New York, The Whitney Museum of American Art, as well as Exploration at Wellesley College, and Saturday Art School at Pratt Institute.
