Agustina Markez
Agustina Markez (b. 1998) is an Argentine immigrant artist, currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work examines the merging of politics, constructed environments and feelings of home rendered in sculpture, installation, video, experimental film and performance. She received a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelors of Art in Visual Arts and Art History at SUNY Purchase. Most recently, Agustina received an MFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work has been exhibited in various institutions such as, Microscope Gallery, Attleboro Arts Museum, Kates-Ferri Project and the RISD Museum.
